From the base of Marmot Basin, skiers and snowboarders have access to three chairlifts and the Magic Carpet learning area. The Canadian Rockies Express Quad Chair is the longest detachable quad chairlift in the Canadian Rockies, taking skiers and snowboarders of all abilities 2.3 kilometers to the top of both groomed and off-piste terrain.
The Paradise Quad Chair is especially convenient for rippers that want nothing more than a short jaunt to the mountain's newest and most challenging terrain, Tres Hombres.
Marmot Basin's Knob Chair takes keeners nearly to the tip of Marmot Peak which accesses wide open terrain from intermediate to expert level runs. Feel the rush of the fresh mountain air and glide through dry Rocky Mountain powder above the tree line.
Weather Conditions:Ski Marmot Basin is the northernmost of the large Canadian Rocky Mountain ski areas and enjoys abundant dry, natural snow that is a dream to ski and snowboard in. Average winter temperatures range from -10 degrees Celsius to minus 2 degrees Celsius.
