Mt Norquay is Banff’s closest ski resort and is only an hour drive from Calgary. Celebrating their ninety-fifth season, Norquay has long been known as a family fun destination. From gentle green runs, rolling blue groomers, to some of the best challenging steeps of the World Famous Lone Pine that overlooks the beautiful Town of Banff, Norquay has a great variety of terrain for everyone.
Norquay’s Tube park boasts the longest, fastest sliding lanes in western Canada! From the dedicated tube lodge, guests can rent snowshoes and explore trails through lodgepole pine that open up to incredible vistas of Banff and the mountains of Banff National Park.

Winter 2020/21 COVID-19 Operating Update
As always, the health and safety of our staff and guests is at the top of our priority list, as such things are going to be a little different this season while operating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
By Following Alberta Health Services (AHS) guidelines and incorporating industry best practices we have had a very successful summer operating, and by continuing to work in this way we are confident of a great, safe winter season ahead.
We are spoiled to have the beautiful Cascade Lodge, with it’s large size in comparison to our daily skier visits, and the fact that all of our lifts are easily accessed without ‘choke points’, we feel that we are well-positioned to provide a safe, enjoyable mountain experience.
It is up to all of us to work together. By being patient, caring and compassionate, and by taking a few extra health measures we will have a great season!
