A popular spot for locals in the winter months is the Manning Ski Hill located east of town which offers downhill skiing and snowboarding. There are 4 primary runs, with bush runs and some small features, that are approximately 400 meters long.
Full rental equipment is available.
Lessons are not available.
Located approximately 73 km north-west of Peace River, Alberta is the Town of Manning with a population of approximately 1350. Situated in the valley of the Notikewan River on the Mackenzie Highway at the junction of Highway 35 and Highway 691.

Weather Conditions:The hill does not operate after -25C, with weather conditions varying greatly from the top and bottom of the hill. Weather closure updates and/or delays will be posted on social media.
