Located in the heart of the Edmonton downtown river valley Edmonton Ski Club has been in operation since 1911. Preparing for a new net zero carbon neutral facility the old lodge has been demolished and a new interim day lodge installed. Offering enhanced facilities for the 2022/23 season Edmonton Ski Club features a T Bar, Carpet lift, and two handle tows servicing exciting urban terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all levels to explore along with Tubing and Ice climbing available onsite. Featuring a mini grom park, progressive learning park, spacious beginner area, moguls, and Edmonton’s steepest pitch for the advance skier or snowboarder. We are easily available via public transit, close to the university and feature the best view in Edmonton.
Programs
Holiday Camps
Between December 26 – 30 and January 2-6, the Edmonton Ski Club is offering Kinder Kids (ages 4-6), Juniors (ages 7-12) and Teen (ages 13-17) winter camps.
Each camp is priced at $250 and runs from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM daily during its scheduled week, with one instructional hour, one tubing hour, a half-hour lunch break and two fifteen-minute snack breaks. The camp fee includes full day rentals and lift tickets. Camps are offered at both beginner and intermediate levels.

KidSki and KidsBoard drop-in sessions
If your child has previous experience skiing or snowboarding, the Edmonton Ski Club’s KidSki and KidsBoard drop-in sessions are a great option for them! For just $19.95 per drop-in session, participants get full instruction and an evening lift ticket. Rentals are available free of charge if required. Sessions occur on Friday evenings up to March 17 2023, with the exception of December 30. KidSki and KidsBoard are among our most popular programs. Enroll today to secure your child’s ticket to fun!

Tubing
Try out tubing against the Downtown skyline in the Edmonton Ski Club’s Tube Park! Afterwards, drop by our interim lodge for a hot drink and a snack. Tubing makes for a great family-friendly activity, especially over the holidays.
We’re offering tubing sessions daily between December 26 – 31 and January 2 – 8. Book your tubing slot today* via our Tubing page.
*All tubing participants are required to have or rent a winter sports helmet in addition to the ticket.
