Alberta North Ski Locations
Located in the town of Whitecourt with public transportation available right to the hill, Eastlink Park is the perfect affordable, fun, family and youth hill. There is something for everyone including a terrain park, perfect beginner runs, and two tubing runs.
Kinosoo Ridge Snow Resort
Kinosoo Ridge has served as North Eastern Alberta’s premiere downhill ski facility for 35 years. There are 13 runs of varied skiing ability, tubing and terrain parks.
Little Smoky Ski Area
Little Smoky Ski Area offers great skiing and snowboarding at a very affordable price. It is a family orientated environment with great home cooking in our Hilltop Cafe. Also, check out the tube run.
Situated right in the town of Peace River, Misery Mountain offers an affordable way to spend the day outside with your family and friends. With night skiing and certified instructors, don’t forget – Misery Loves Company!
Spring Lake Ski Hill
Spring Hill has been run by volunteers for over 20 years. We welcome Downhill skiers and boarders and have a great Beginner Hill. For the Cross Country skier we offer over 10km of groomed trails.
Families and groups with a variety of abilities can ski and snowboard together in a relaxed and friendly environment. Whispering Pines Ski Hill is located near Worsley, in the North West Peace River Country in the Clear Hills.
Fairview Ski Area
A community operated hill for 40 years offering many runs from beginner to expert serviced by a t-bar, 2 platters and a beginner tow. There is more than 20,000 feet of groomed terrain on 100% natural snow.
Long Lake Ski Area
Long Lake is a friendly, family-oriented ski area in Thorhild County, where lift lines are short and smiles are contagious. The runs cover over 30 acres and there is terrain for every ability.
Manning & District Ski Club
Manning Ski Hill is located east of the Town of Manning. This volunteer run ski area has 5 runs and is generally open weekends.
Located 35km north of Barrhead, Misty Ridge has over 100 acres of runs overlooking the scenic Athabasca River. The runs are accessed by t-bars, and a chalet includes a cafeteria.
Nitehawk Year-Round Adventure Park
Nitehawk is a community club, offering 9 runs, two terrain parks and night-skiing. There is also tubing and luge track.
Tawatinaw Valley Resort
The Tawatinaw Valley Resort is only one hour north of Edmonton. This ski hill spreads over 140 acres and offers 24 downhill runs, over 20 km of scenic cross country ski trails and a tubing hill.
